Playables Engineer

Team Marketing Art & Creatives in Brazil - Remote First

This position is based in Brazil, on a remote-first working model: you choose which city to live and work remotely if you prefer, but the São Paulo office is available if you wish to work presentially. 

Your missions include developing compact games to be used as playable ads in order to attract millions of new users for our main titles.

As a Playables Engineer in Marketing Art, you will be responsible for the whole development cycle of a Playable ad. You'll make important decisions on playables gameplay and mechanics implementation, working on projects for many different titles!

What you'll do

  • Develop games as never before building the best playables ads of the entire industry;
  • Develop features in our proprietary engine used by the team to unlock completely new capabilities;
  • Questioning the status quo looking for potential improvements in the area processes;
  • Work closely with Artists, Product Marketing Specialists and Data Analysts;
  • Clearly communicate demands, status and risks to all the stakeholders;

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar course, or equivalent working experience;
  • 2+ years of experience as a Software developer;
  • Solid understanding of computer science concepts (data structures, networking, concurrency, memory management, algorithm analysis, computer graphics, etc.);
  • Experience in Javascript/Typescript;
  • Intermediate English for reading and writing technical documents;
  • Bonus (it is a plus)
    • Experience in Unity, WebGL, and Shading languages (GLSL / HLSL) is a plus;
    • Experience developing games or similar real-time interactive applications is a plus;
